Crab'n is a way of life....

WWW

If your doing 1 or 2 just put them in a brown paper bag and microwave for a few seconds.  If you got a bunch to reheat get the steamer boiling hot and put them back in the steamer until hot enough.  If you reheating boiled crabs...   Your on your own... Grin

I put them  back in the steamer pot with a little water, place cold crabs on rack, cover and heat until I see first sign of steam coming from under lid, than I turn off heat and let set for ten minutes.

I really enjoy cold crabs the next day.  Sometimes better than steamed.

The best way that I know of to reheat crabs is to steam the ones you plan to eat in a day or two without seasoning. You could put them on top of you batch or you could also try washing the seasoning off  your left overs that you plan to resteam. Then put them in a bag and place them in your crisper in your fridge so air blowing on them can not dry them out. Resteam them as you would raw crabs by sprinkling with fresh seasoning but this time only long enough to get them hot.

Cold crabs I find are often better, it's like the seasoning has more time to marinade 😀

For just a couple cover with a wet paper towel and throw them in the microwave for about a minute or so.

I'd rather eat a cold crab than a fresh steamed and like my shrimp the same way. I think they have more flavor

If I decide to reheat (which I'll only do if I'm having a party and people want/expect hot crab) I'll simply steam them for 7 minutes.

I agree with the above methods. I also like cold crabs and have never reheated. Cold crabs are tasty!
Cold Lobster is pretty good too!

One thing I don't like leftover and cold is pizza. I will always reheat a pizza slice in the oven not microwave cause you get spongy crust.
I have friends that really seem to enjoy cold pizza for breakfast! Not for me!

Cold crabs are tasty to me. Seems like the juices hang in there and add flavor.

I have had luck reheating crabs either on the grill or the oven. I just put the crabs in a pan, add about 1 inch of water and cover them tightly and heat for about 15 to 25 minutes around 375 to 400 degrees or so. This seems to add back in the moisture.
